Fun day today at the gingerbread build off downtown at the Grand Hotel. Ethan came with us to build a gingerbread house and take pictures with a gingerbread man. Afterwards we went to see the reindeer at Ritter's. Ethan and Ella had a great morning together and even played a little game of tag.

Ella was my test subject today trying to help me find the perfect setting to take a Christmas picture. Nothing like waiting until the last minute to do something. I wanted to skip them all together this year with moving, and hockey I just felt like we didn't have time. I decided to go on Pinterest today to find and idea and saw this. Thank you Pinterest for saving me once again!

Fall Recap

So much has happened since my last post! I will do a quick list summary of our past year. 

-Soccer 

-Visiting our cousin Lola in Trail with Aunt Chelsea and Uncle Matt

-Hike to Mt. Spokane State park with the DOG!!

-4th of July

-Eli turned 9

-We put a fire pit in the backyard

-drove to Vancouver and Boise 

-Went to Silver wood

-Mom turned 38

-our cousin Paityn came to Spokane

-Grandma Gimmeson came to Spokane and took us to CDA to the park

-Went to Lake Roosevelt and stayed in a cabin with the Deakins

-Eli started 4th grade and Ella started 1st grade at Midway Ethan is a SENIOR at Mt. Spokane 

-Ella dyed her hair purple

We are on the market!!

We finally got all of our ducks in a row and listed our house. We are excited and scared to start a new adventure with out family. We will hopefully be in our new house in June 2017, right when Ethan is graduating high school!! This is going to be a big new year for us and I am so excited to begin this journey!

Ella and I were able to take a quick family trip down to Boise to see baby Eleanor in January. Ella was very excited to hold her new baby cousin.

Ella has had some fun nights our with her kindergarten class at the carousel down town and at roller skating this year. 

Christmas break was filled with lots of fun and time at home with the family. We watched our favorite Christmas movie, made cookies, saw the Chinese lantern festival went to both kids Christmas program and did a fabulous job singing.
