Following in his footsteps

Elijah loves to follow around big brother Ethan and I caught a few moments over the weekend of the two of them together.

Brownie's Haircut

Brownie went to the doggie salon for the first time on saturday and had a bath, got a hair cut and her nails clipped. When she was finished she came out with big red bows in her hair. I tried to get a picture but she kept moving around trying to take them out.

Job!!

I made it through my first full week of school this week. I am doing a job share in the Mead School district in third grade and I am so excited to finally have my own class. I work in the 2nd grade in the morning teaching math, and then I am in third grade in the afternoon. It is great, I am still figuring things out, but I am looking forward to the school year! Go Jaguars!

Soccer has begun

Today was the first day of soccer, and Ethan's team ( Red Thunder) won their first game! He is playing on a bigger field this year with a full net, which is a lot more fun, but now there are more rules to follow and more players on the field. He scored 2 goals and missed about 5 goals, but he had a lot of fun and made it though the first game.

Sunday Sundae

On Sunday I ran a race called the Sunday Sundae that was 10 miles long. My goal was to finish the race and I did! Here I am before the race...afterwards wasn't as pretty. I will be taking a couple days off to recover. :)

Grasshopper

Elijah discovered a grasshopper in the backyard and followed it around trying to pick it up, it was pretty funny.
