CHRISTMAS

Christmas was off to a slow start this morning, since our little princess decided to sleep in until 9am this morning, leaving her brothers pacing the floor waiting patiently for her to wake up. When she finally did, the first thing she asked was, "Is Santa here?!"  She found this tiara in her stocking and spent a good part of the morning with it on until she found something new to wear.

I transfered pictures off of Ethan's iPod today and found all these funny pictures I have never seen that I thought I would share.

 

We have been stuck at home with a sick baby girl, we went to the doctor for a cough that wouldn't stop and found out she has a double ear infection. My poor baby.

Santa

We went to get pictures with santa today and the kids didn't cry at all. Ella is cute in this picture reaching out for her brother just to make sure she was ok. She is so close to Elijah, I love that she always reaches for him in moments of uncertainty.

NIC Alumni Game

I had the opportunity to play in an alumni basketball game a couple weeks ago and I received pictures from the the game today I wanted to share. I only scored 4 points, but it was so fun to be back on the court again for the game. Can't wait until next year! Go Cardinals

Movies

The kids and I went to a movie last night, Wreck it Ralph and we had a great time. I haven't taken the kids to a movie for a long time so it was nice to get out and do something we all enjoy. Elijah was laughing so hard during the movie, it was pretty funny. The movie wasn't what I had expected, but pretty good.

Lucky me! Next weekend I get to go to the last Twilight with a group of girls from Chris's work that I have seen all the Twilight movies with. So excited for a girls night out at Twigs and a movie.

Dancing is in her future

Ella is always dancing around the house and at school with her friends. Yesterday her teacher said they turn on music at the end of the day and they were listening to all the single ladies and Ella loves that song. She made up her own dance for it and it is so funny. I put it in youtube and will put a link on here. Enjoy!

Halloween 2012

  

 

This year the kids decided to be two of their favorite characters. After searching around town we found Sonic at the Halloween store and I managed to find a wig for Ella that worked perfectly! They had a great night out trick or treating with Chris. Ella was the loudest at saying Tick or Treat, and tried to get as many suckers as she could. Eli braved the haunted house in the neighnorhood with Chris after Ella was done and wasn't scared. I forgot to take a picture of both my costumes, a fisherman at work, and a butterfly at night. We ended up with three buckets of candy that will last us awhile, hopefully.

 

 

 

 

                                          

 

Ella turns 3

 

Ella turned 3 years old today. She was very excited to share the day with her family and new friends from school that she has.

Broken Nose

Usually when I take the kids to the gym some kind of disaster occurs, usually with Ella having an accident and my workout gets cut short and it is really frustrating. So yesterday I got through my whole work out and while we were leaving the gym, Elijah decided to run out of the kids club ahead of me and swing between the arms of 2 chairs, swinging his legs back and forth. On one of his swings his legs went too high and he went face first onto the tile floor below him. It was a direct hit on his nose and it was bleeding everywhere. Meanwhile back in the kids club where I was, putting Ella's shoes on, in comes Eli screaming and bleeding all over the place. All  I can say is at least I got my work out in before this happened, and I hope he learns a lesson not to run ahead of me (like he usually does)because that is how accidents happen. He is one tough cookie though and didn't cry for too long afterwards.

We left the gym and went straight to Rockwood urgent care and they looked at it and said come back in 5 days once the swelling goes down to see if they have to fix it or not.

We had soccer pictures at 3pm and we managed to get home from the doctor, drop off  Ella, change into our uniform and make it to pictures by 3:25pm and the coach was nice enough to wait for us. We will always have a lasting memory of Eli's first broken nose. He even wanted to play in his game and scored 2 goals.

I will update with pictures over the next 5 days as we watch the swelling go down to determine if we have to go back into the doctor.

Team Building for Hockey

Ethan went to team building at Eastern this past weekend with his hockey team. One of the coaches was nice enough to take pictures for me.
