Spokane Cross Fit held a competition this weekend and I registered ready to see where I was competitively. I originally registered for the RX category, but moved down to intermediate when the first workout posted was handstand push ups and ring dips, two movements I am unable to do. It was for the best because I am not in as good of shape as I thought I was to withstand 3 workouts in one day. Lesson learned....lots to work on before my next competition!
My wonderful friend Erin took these picture for my first cross fit competition.
READY!!
These picture are from my second WOD or workout of the day. The workout was hard, and I almost messed up my workout by walking out after the first 5 minutes. I completely forgot that there was another 5 minutes after the 2 minute break. All of a sudden I hear people yelling my name, I ran back to my spot just as the buzzer sounded and started another 5 minutes. I will be practicing this type of endurance because I was winded!
I can barely hold onto the pen to sign my name in on this.
I'm so done right here, but I have one more WOD to go. WOD #3 time 3:21
Finished in 7th place in my division, learned a lot and had a blast!!
