We just brought the saucer and Jumparoo upstairs for Ella to start playing with, here are some pictures. She seems to like them both, but when she's in the jumper she is all over the place.

Ella, Eli, and Dad

Not sure what Eli is doing with his face in this picture, I thought it was cute though..

This cracks me up because when ever Chris holds her at night, she gets this look like she wants to eat him and slobbers all over his face. This is the look right before the attack...

This is the look I get most of the time, SERIOUS... she loves to be on her tummy and look around

Ella 3 Months old

Ella is 3 months old now and is getting so big each day. I still can't believe that she came into our lives and how much fun it is to have a little girl in the house.
She just started trying to roll over, she has done it twice, but I can't seem to get it on tape. She also laughed a little the other day, and I can't wait till she just burst out in laughter. The little things make me smile from ear to ear and I am so blessed to have such a nice family.

Teresa Shirley Bilesky

Chris' grandma or Nana as she was know to us, passed away on January 15th after having a stroke a few weeks earlier. We attended her funeral on January 19th up in Trail BC. Chris and his father Wayne gave the eulogy and they did a wonderful job. She did so much for our family, and her community, and she was very close to Ethan as he was groing up. Ethan has many fond memories of spending the summer with Nana and Dee and I am very thankful that she was able to spend that time with him. She will be truly missed by her family and friends, but we know we will see her again in Heaven. We love you Nana....

Happy Birthday Dad!!
We L-O-V-E you and miss you a lot!

Ice skating FUN!!

Sad News

We receieved some sad new Wednesday morning that Chris' grandma had a stroke Tuesday night. At the time, Chris and the boys were in Vancouver BC at a hockey tournament and I was still in Spokane with Ella. As soon as we could, we pack up and headed to Trail to be with her and thankfully she is slowly recovering from the stroke. She has little use of the left side of her body, but she is still able to talk to us and she has been getting better each day since. It is going to be a slow road back to recovery, but she is a strong woman and has many family members and friends that will be by her side the whole way.

We came back home to Spokane today, but I will keep you posted on how she is recovering.

More Family Pictures

Chris said that he used to take turns bouncing his brother and sister on his knee...so we recreated that memory

The Whole gang...Chris, Ella, Ashton, Wayne, Ethan, Chelsea and Elijah

The Siblings...Ashton ( the little brother, though it is hard to tell that with how big he has gotten over the past few years) Chelsea, and Chris. Ironically they are almost the same age difference as our three kids today.
The Kids with their Aunt and Uncle

Chris' sister and brother came down the day after Christmas to spend the day with us and do some boxing day shopping at the mall. We took a couple pictures since this is the first time Elijah has seen Chelsea since he was about as big as Ella. Elijah wasn't really sure what to think about her,but he ended up giving her a hug and a kiss before she left.

Christmas 2009

As the year comes to a close I want to share a few last pictures from Christmas Day. Ethan was up at 5am and Elijah followed shortly after at 6:15am, a little earlier than I has anticipated (Ella was not awake, and slept most of the morning) Santa got Ethan a Pittsburgh Penguins hat and a NHL hockey game for Wii, Elijah got a train table and Ella got some toys for her car seat.

Here are some pictures of the morning:

This is actually from Christmas Eve, Elijah asked what was hanging by the fire place and we told him stocking, so he went in his room and out his and Ella's stockings on his feet....too funny!

Ella with a bow on her head

the boys in their new hats

Eli loves his playdough he got from Grandpa Mike

Does it look like I was excited to be up at 6am??? Oh well, it is always worth it to see their faces Christmas morning :)

Video games all day.....

Eli entertained at last, he actually played for an hour with this playdough

here is the train set, legos, basketball hoop and handy manny workshop Eli got

Ethan with his robot from Grandma Florko

Ella's baby gym from Grandpa Mike (I will get a picture of her in it when she wakes up, she slept most of today)

I've got my eye on you

This is the funniest picture I just had to share. Ella is staring right at me and although we weren't trying to get this shot, this is what turned out... So Funny!!

Grandpa Florko came to visit and Uncle Roy...

Roy and the kids( Eli asked, "Where is Grandpa Roy?" the last time he came down

Three pictures of Grandpa and the kids

Ella is very interested in who this is, she was just staring at him

My father in law has been helping us finish our basement by coming down on the weekends to work, and his friend Roy has also been coming along to help with the electrical work. This is the first time Wayne has seen Ella since she was born so I wanted to share some pictures. Thanks Wayne for all that you do for our family, we couldn't do it without your help.

Santa Picture

We got pictures with Santa last night, but Elijah was scared of Santa so he refused to smile and just sat on Santa's lap with a mad face the whole time we took pictures. This is one of the best pictures we got unfortunately... Better luck next year!!

Eli trying to hold Ella

this is actually a smile even though it looks like she is crying

he is just being silly

I tried to get some pictures of Ella looking at the camera while Elijah was holding her, but I wasn't very successful.
