Our New Family

We welcomed our new little girl, Ella Teresa Florko, into the world on October 27th, 2009 at 10:39 am. She was 9 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches long. She is a big girl, but very beautiful and we are so excited to finally have her here.

Baby Shower

I had a great shower last weekend and I totally forgot to post a couple pictures...

Late Again????

For the second time now we are probably going to be late with this baby. I am due today, but the hours are almost up for the day and nothing has happend. I really thought that this one would be early or at least on time. I was hoping for Saturday, but that came and went so we are not sure when this little bundle is going to arrive. I did squats on Friday, walked the stairs on Saturday, and went for a walk outside today and nothing is helping.

Baby Shower

My wonderful friend Erin threw me a beautiful baby shower today for our baby Girl. I received some wonderful gifts from all my thoughtful friends. Thank you to everyone who came and those of you who didn't and still sent gifts. BOO-tiful Belly

We have 2 weeks left, until we meet our little girl. I had my hospital tour today and turned in all my paperwork so I am officially registered, and ready to go to the hospital. I still need to pick up a few essentials and pack my hospital bag, and prepare my husband for a third child..... other than that we are good to go. My mom is coming on the 24th so I am trying to hold off till she gets here so she can watch the boys for me and I don't have to worry about them.

Fun for Bunco

Since I am due in October, and this is my last pregancy, I thought I would throw a little twist into the Halloween festivities for Bunco this year and paint my stomach like a pumpkin. There is another girl in our bunco group that is due two weeks after me who decided to join in on the fun too. Here are our pregnant bellies together.

Ice Skating

Elijah went ice skating for the first time with Chris out at the EWU ice rink. He had a smile on his face the whole time, it was pretty fun to watch.

4 weeks left

We are now down to week number 4, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to see how things are moving along. Not feeling early at all I am sure I get to wait the whole 4 weeks :)

I just got back from a fun weekend with a group of friends!! We went to a camp called "Wild Womens Weekend," and I had a great time. I learned how to braid a leather braclet and made mathching ones for the boys and for Chris, learned how to fly cast, tie dyed a shirt, made a picture frame and took a nice walk along the lake. There were many more activities that I wanted to do like, archery, riflery, knitting, and hiking, but due too being pregnant they just weren't safe things for me to do. NEXT YEAR!!

5 weeks left

We have 5 weeeks left till we finally meet this little baby girl. She is running out of room to move around so things are getting a little uncomfortable, but I am hanging in to the end!!

House Cleaning

Eli has a very bad habit of throwing his food on the floor when he is done eating and I have started making him clean it up since I am tired of doing it, and can barely bend over anyway. I got the vacumn out yesterday after he dumped his whole bag of pretzels on the floor and then ran over them with his truck, turning the carpet into a big crumbly mess!!

He is putting each piece into the hose one at a time, I finally came over and showed him that he could just use the hose to pick up the pretzels faster...

Fun dressing up

Elijah was playing with Chris and Ethan yesterday and came running out of his room dressed in this ninja outfit. He was running around in this for awhile yelling "Hi-Yah," but stopped so I could take a picture.

Today I decided to try and create my own flower head band for the baby since I keep seeing them eveywhere. Elijah was my model so I could see how it was working out. He wanted to keep it on all day of course. Here is the final product.

Ethan had his first day of 5th grade this morning which I can hardly believe!! He was a little nervous because he doesn't have any friends in his class this year and has a new teacher he didn't know much about, but he ended up having a good day, even after Chris played a joke on him and switched his fruit snacks with my little pony fruit snacks...ha ha ha. Ethan said his whole tabled laughed at him at snack time.

Parents have to have a little fun too :)

Baby Count Down...49 days to go

Here is my last belly shot that I will post since I don't want to scare anyone too much :) Things are going very well and we are almost to the big day. Once school starts this week and we get back to a daily schedule and routine things will move fast. We are very excited to meet our little girl.

Fun at Riverfront and the MAC

On Friday we took the kids to the MAC to see the "Out of this World" costume exhibit. They were featuring costumes worn for various movies. We saw a lot of Star Trek, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and even a costume from the movie Tron. We couldn't take pictures in the exhibit, but afterwards we went out in a little area and were able to try on different outfits. Elijah was scared once he saw some of Ethan's outfits so he didn't really pose for any pictures.

After the MAC we went down to Pig Out in the Park which we haven't been to in 5 or 6 years. We ate all the good food, and desserts and rode on the Gondola ride. Here is a slide show of our evening.

Last night as we were admiring the new lights in the garage, Chris and Elijah found a small frog hiding in the garage. Elijah of course was very excited and spent the next 15 minutes trying to help daddy catch the frog. Chris was afraid of the frog and it was pretty funny watch the two of them try to catch him, Elijah had the flashlight and was trying to point it at the frog while Chris picked it up. The frog was very fast and wouldn't stop jumping around. Finally they caught Mr. Fog and admired him for a few moments and then put him out in the grass so he could catch some bugs. What a night...

I have been trying to learn how to decorate for sometime now and I finally think I have a good start in my kitchen.
