4 weeks left

We are now down to week number 4, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow to see how things are moving along. Not feeling early at all I am sure I get to wait the whole 4 weeks :)

I just got back from a fun weekend with a group of friends!! We went to a camp called "Wild Womens Weekend," and I had a great time. I learned how to braid a leather braclet and made mathching ones for the boys and for Chris, learned how to fly cast, tie dyed a shirt, made a picture frame and took a nice walk along the lake. There were many more activities that I wanted to do like, archery, riflery, knitting, and hiking, but due too being pregnant they just weren't safe things for me to do. NEXT YEAR!!

5 weeks left

We have 5 weeeks left till we finally meet this little baby girl. She is running out of room to move around so things are getting a little uncomfortable, but I am hanging in to the end!!

House Cleaning

Eli has a very bad habit of throwing his food on the floor when he is done eating and I have started making him clean it up since I am tired of doing it, and can barely bend over anyway. I got the vacumn out yesterday after he dumped his whole bag of pretzels on the floor and then ran over them with his truck, turning the carpet into a big crumbly mess!!

He is putting each piece into the hose one at a time, I finally came over and showed him that he could just use the hose to pick up the pretzels faster...

Fun dressing up

Elijah was playing with Chris and Ethan yesterday and came running out of his room dressed in this ninja outfit. He was running around in this for awhile yelling "Hi-Yah," but stopped so I could take a picture.

Today I decided to try and create my own flower head band for the baby since I keep seeing them eveywhere. Elijah was my model so I could see how it was working out. He wanted to keep it on all day of course. Here is the final product.

Ethan had his first day of 5th grade this morning which I can hardly believe!! He was a little nervous because he doesn't have any friends in his class this year and has a new teacher he didn't know much about, but he ended up having a good day, even after Chris played a joke on him and switched his fruit snacks with my little pony fruit snacks...ha ha ha. Ethan said his whole tabled laughed at him at snack time.

Parents have to have a little fun too :)

Baby Count Down...49 days to go

Here is my last belly shot that I will post since I don't want to scare anyone too much :) Things are going very well and we are almost to the big day. Once school starts this week and we get back to a daily schedule and routine things will move fast. We are very excited to meet our little girl.

Fun at Riverfront and the MAC

On Friday we took the kids to the MAC to see the "Out of this World" costume exhibit. They were featuring costumes worn for various movies. We saw a lot of Star Trek, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and even a costume from the movie Tron. We couldn't take pictures in the exhibit, but afterwards we went out in a little area and were able to try on different outfits. Elijah was scared once he saw some of Ethan's outfits so he didn't really pose for any pictures.

After the MAC we went down to Pig Out in the Park which we haven't been to in 5 or 6 years. We ate all the good food, and desserts and rode on the Gondola ride. Here is a slide show of our evening.

Toga Party

Last night as we were admiring the new lights in the garage, Chris and Elijah found a small frog hiding in the garage. Elijah of course was very excited and spent the next 15 minutes trying to help daddy catch the frog. Chris was afraid of the frog and it was pretty funny watch the two of them try to catch him, Elijah had the flashlight and was trying to point it at the frog while Chris picked it up. The frog was very fast and wouldn't stop jumping around. Finally they caught Mr. Fog and admired him for a few moments and then put him out in the grass so he could catch some bugs. What a night...

I have been trying to learn how to decorate for sometime now and I finally think I have a good start in my kitchen. We got some pictures last summer and a few sconces to put up and now I am trying to finish my kitchen. Here is the start I have so far, if you have any suggestions please leave a comment.

Baby..counting down the days

I have about 11 weeks left till this little girls joins the world and I am starting to freak out a little. I keep thinking is this really happening to me, it is a weird feeling to think of three kids!! I can't imagine how my neighbor up the street did it with triplets. I have a 2 year spread and I am not sure how I am going to do it. I know if will be fine, heck I had 8 one year old's in a class for a year and did fine. I think all the emotions are just hitting me now that is getting closer and time is starting to move faster with school getting ready to start.

Silverwood

We went to Silverwood on Saturday for the Moss Adams company picnic once again. I think this is our last year going so we tried to do as many thing as we could fit into our day. We rode the kiddie rides with Eli, the log ride and bumper boats of course, the train ride and watched the magic show. Finally we ended our day at Boulder Beach by riding down the lazy river and playing in the kid area. Elijah was a trooper and made it till 4pm before falling asleep in Chris's arms, he ended up sleeping until we got home and once we got there he only wanted to ride his bike, that kid just never stops moving.

Bunco Fun

Once a month I get to have a girls night and go play bunco with some great friends!! Here are some funny pictures from July, our theme was Weddings which will help explain the pictures :)

The 3 bunco babes that are pregnant, Melissa is due in September (the smallest of course) I am due in October, and Tami is due in November.

Although I don't really like the idea of Ethan doing a whole lot alone with Elijah since I am such a worrier, I am trying to let go a little, and let him do stuff with him. One thing he likes to do is take Elijah on walks around the block a little ways with Brownie. Ethan is supposed to walk the dog and push Elijah, but today Elijah thought he was supposed to walk the dog...it was pretty funny so I had to sneak a picture as they were walking away.
