Christina Lake Camping

We went camping at Christina lake this weekend to watch Chris play in the Grand Forks International baseball tournament. We had a great time, watching the games, playing at the camp site and just relaxing with friends around the camp fire hearing stories and having fun!!

Princess

I love the fact the Ella loves to be a girly girl, but is tough as nails when whe wants to be. She can thank her two oldeer brothers for that when she gets older. This skirt is her latest favorite dress item, she saw it at the store and that is all she could talk about!

Brothers and Sisters

These two are so cute together and love each so much. I love how close they are and how much they like to play together. Ella adores him and misses Eli anytime he is gone. I am going to miss seeing them as much as I usually get to once I start work.

Lake

castle

My good friend Meg invited us to the lake the other day and we had a great time! Here are some pictures from our day...we even saw a castle in the woods. Pretty cool!

New Journey

It has been a pretty crappy couple of weeks for me playing the waiting game of finding a job. I hate every summer knowing that I have to reapply for jobs, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. It stresses me out waiting and wondering about what is going to happen.

I have been working in the Mead School District for the past 4 years and it finally came to an end this summer which was bittersweet because they had become a second family to me, and I was really hurt not to be asked back this year. Fortunately for me I found another school district that wanted to hire  me and I am getting ready to start a new adventure in my life.

I am really going to miss my team at Meadow Ridge and coaching all the kids that I have grown so close with, but I'm excited to try something new.

Goodbye Meadow Ridge....

Trip to Denver

We were able to go visit my sister and her new baby boy, and his sister Kaedence in Denver and visit Grandma as well for a week. We had a great time going to the Denver Zoo, and the water park and to Monkey Buizness (inflatable castles and slides). We spent lots of time holding the new baby, he was such a cutie!

Grandma Paula had new kittens that Eli and Ella loved!

Foam Fest 5 K

I had a great start to Saturday minus getting up early with little sleep the night before, but I couldn't miss the fun event I was heading to with my friends Erin (the birthday girl) and Shannon. FOAM FEST SPOKANE 5K! The race was at Mt. Spokane State Park and was a lit of fun. There was A LOT more running that I had anticipated and it was mostly up hill which I definitely wasn't ready for. The obstacles were fun..there was a foam mat, mud crawl under live wired bungee cords (ZAP), two tire obstacles, 2 wall climbs, a spider web rope climb, a mud wall, and 2 slippery slides with foam. I was hoping for more obstacles and less running, but now I know what to expect for next year!

When we arrived

After the race...not so clean

having a drink to celebrate...can't wait till next year

Ella let me french braid her hair this week and it turned out pretty good except it started falling out around 4 pm. It looked cute while it lasted though.

Here is a silly picture of Ella with her friend from daycare playing after VBS last week at Whitworth.
Ella got her ears pierced on Monday and was so brave she didn't even cry for the first ear, and barely cried the second ear. She looks very cute with her new earings in.

Saw this on Facebook and had to repost it...Feeling like this is so true for me at this point in my life, and I am wondering what great change is in store for me next. I am ready!
